This group has been created as a more open group for artists of all levels who love all things monstrous, creepy or just plain strange. c:
Anthros, animals, humans and scenery relating to these themes are completely welcome! However, original species and monsters are the main focus. If this appeals to you, join up and start submitting!

However, please only post work that you have put time and effort into, no 5 minute sketches and all that. c:>

Limit of three submissions per folder per day, with the exception of the Tutorials, References, Writing, folders, which are unlimited. The Featured folder is for your very best work, you may only submit one deviation per month there. However, there is also a chance of an admin moving an artwork from another folder to Featured if it really catches their eye.

Me and the wonderful =desuuuu think it's high time we hold a contest!
So, it is time to announce;

#Obfusc's Monster Design Contest!

Your task is to design a monster, pure and simple! c:
Monster-ifying your extant character is also completely welcome, so long as they weren't just completely monsters already, haha. (Like, for example, I could feasibly monster-ify Synthe, but Ammut wouldn't do much...)

The most creatively awesome monster designs will win art prizes (some from me, ~WRAMIREZOIDE, and =desuuuu, and more TBA!) and a grand prize of a three month premium membership! All participants will get llamas (unless you don't want one, haha.)

Why is there such a sudden surge of art coming on? well over 100 have come up in my watch list and most are from different people. Is there some sort of event or something going on?
